The public’s participation
Vote, detect, propose and explain your needs from April 3 to 5.
On the web you can see all the social needs that have already been raised and vote for those that concern you the most, registering previously on the platform.
After the needs detection and voting phase, the ICT communities will take action to solve the most voted ideas with innovative technological solutions.
You can also propose new needs that you have detected and that are not previously exposed on the page. Join the platform and explain your proposal.
ITC community participation
Provides solutions to the needs of citizens from Monday, April 6 to Sunday, April 12
If you want to target your team to the hackathon, you must first register on the platform. Then you have to fill out a form, register the data of all the participants and choose the name of your group.
The teams must be at least 2 people, but it is recommended that the groups be between 3 and 5 members.
Throughout the hackathon, a team of specialized mentors in the ICT and social fields will offer their support.
Communication will be done through a Slack channel. The teams will have their own channel where you can also interact with the mentors who supervise your activity.
Once your solution is developed, all teams must fill out a form to provide all the information in the proposal. The file will include the URLs to the YouTube video-pitch, to GitHub and open spaces from where to consult the web or download the app with the solution.
1. 3min. Pitch in Youtube.
All teams must record a video of 3 minutes maximum explaining the solution they have developed. This video will be aimed at the genral public and, therefore, the language must be informative.
Video must be posted on YouTube with public visibility. It will also be available in the Solutions section of the web.
2.Public acces to the solution.
The code for the solution should be uploaded to GitHub.
The developed websites must be public. The apps must be sent to the app stores so that they can be downloaded.
Goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development
The developed solution must be linked to one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It will also be necessary to explain how the solution positively impacts the real needs of the public.
