What is it?
Hackovid is a virtual, open and participatory event that has been created to respond to the social needs related to the confinement situation that we are experiencing , as well as those needs that will arise later as activity is normalizing.
In order to identify these needs that arise from the confinement and post-confinement, Hackovid has launched a participatory process so that the public can propose their needs and assess the most relevant ones. The publcs participation shows the depth the social effects of this situation and define the challenges that must be solved by Hackovid participants.
To provide solutions, Hackovid invites all those passionate about design and technology, designers, developers, ICT professionals, etc. to participate in an unprecedented virtual hackathon. Given this unprecedented situation, the talent of the ICT community is key to developing digital tools in record time and, thus, solving the social needs that most concern citizens.
Hackovid also has the support of mentors, experts and entities from all over the country and promotes the development of innovative solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
